Our speaker for the October 13th meeting is Chase Biegler
Executive Director at the Micah's Backpack
Chase Biegler has been involved with Micah’s Backpack for over four years doing fundraisers, food drives, and packing bags. Micah’s Backpack has been a significant part of Chase’s life, and he is so thankful to have such a strong, positive impact on his community.
In 2007, Prices Fork Elementary School approached St Michael’s Lutheran Church about providing weekend meals for 5 of their free school-lunch program recipients.., Today, in 2026, Micah’s provides free school-lunches for 10 area schools. & packs between 275 - 300 weekend meal bags every single week schools are in session!!!
Donations at Meeting
Members of BNC can help out by donating the following items:
16 oz jars of peanut butter
Canned tuna
Canned chicken
Canned pasta
Packs of Granola/ cereal bars
Packs of snack treats
MONETARY DONATIONS ARE ALSO APPRECIATED
