Join Us at Our Monthly Meetings

 We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September-May in the community room of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at 600 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg.  All general membership meetings are free and open to the public. We'd love for you to become a member!

We will have a surprise musical guest at our November 11th meeting!  He's a native of Virginia and he'll be regaling us with his music during our Social Time so come out on the 11th and meet our mystery guest!

Doors open 8:55am

• 9am Sign-in & Social Time

  • Coffee & refreshments provided in unstructured setting

  • Casual time to meet members as well as the Board, Officers, & Interest Group Leaders

• 9:30am Welcome

  • Announcements & ice breakers

  • Introductions & interest group info

• 9:45am Community Outreach

  • Local outreach group/charity speaks about their organization

  • Donations to the organization accepted at the meeting

• 10-10:10am Break

  • Refresh food, ask questions, meet others, etc

• 10:10-11am Featured Speaker

  • Shares information about their organization

  • Feedback from members is this is a fabulous session where many new facets of the NRV have been discovered

• 11-11:30am End of program

  • Unstructured opportunity for general community Q&A, chatting with the speaker, and additional fellowship with members before leaving

Meetings will be cancelled if Montgomery County Public Schools have a two hour delay or schools are closed.
