Join Us at Our Monthly Meetings

 We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, September-May in the community room of the Luther Memorial Lutheran Church at 600 Prices Fork Road, Blacksburg.  All general membership meetings are free and open to the public. We'd love for you to become a member!

• 9am Sign-in & Social Time

  • Coffee & refreshments provided in unstructured setting

  • Casual time to meet members as well as the Board, Officers, & Interest Group Leaders

• 9:30am Welcome

  • Announcements & ice breakers

  • Introductions & interest group info

• 9:45am Community Outreach

  • Local outreach group/charity speaks about their organization

  • Donations to the organization accepted at the meeting

• 10-10:10am Break

  • Refresh food, ask questions, meet others, etc

• 10:10-11am Featured Speaker

  • Shares information about their organization

  • Feedback from members is this is a fabulous session where many new facets of the NRV have been discovered

• 11-11:30am End of program

  • Unstructured opportunity for general community Q&A, chatting with the speaker, and additional fellowship with members before leaving

• We do NOT follow Montgomery County K-12 schools schedule.

• We WILL follow VIRGINIA TECH cancellations and delays. 

• If you're ever unsure, please check the Newcomers Calendar before heading out to any whole-club event, including meetings.

• The Calendar will always be updated with weather-related  changes.
